About Hammerhead Industries

Gear Keeper® is an innovative brand of the American company Hammerhead Industries, founded by SCUBA (Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus) divers John Salentine and Ken Collin. What started as a solution for securely attaching dive lights and tools underwater grew into a globally recognized system for keeping tools safe and accessible: from outdoor to industry, from emergency services to tactical teams.

All Gear Keeper products are designed and manufactured in the USA and tested under the harshest conditions. The philosophy is simple: if it doesn't work in the field, it won't be sold.

John is the commercial mastermind with a passion for outdoor activities and hunting, while Ken – the technical pioneer – uses his love for diving and product development to continuously innovate.
