After-sales and warranty

GearKeeperShop is not just a store where you can purchase products; after-sales service is just as important to GearKeeperShop as selling a product. You can therefore count on good warranty handling at GearKeeperShop. All items supplied by us come with a 1-year standard manufacturer's warranty, unless stated otherwise.

Invoice with and without VAT

Orders from GearKeeperShop are always delivered with a VAT invoice. For companies outside the Netherlands with a valid VAT number, intra-community supply applies. This means that these companies receive a 0% VAT invoice. You must keep this invoice safe for returns and warranty! Without an invoice, no items can be returned and no warranty will be granted on these items. So, keep the invoice safe.

Return conditions

If you wish to return your order, you may do so within 14 days of receipt. Our conditions are;

Register your return with us within 14 days of receipt by sending an email to info@gearkeepershop.com.

  • Fill out our withdrawal form and send it by email to info@gearkeepershop.com
  • You will receive an RMA number (return merchandise authorization) from us.
  • Send the product or products in their original packaging to our return address and state the RMA number on the packaging, e.g., at the top right of the box on the top of the package where the shipping label is also located.

Right of withdrawal for private individuals

GearKeeperShop operates in accordance with the distance selling act. This means that you have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason. After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return your product. You will then be credited the full order amount, including shipping costs. Only the costs for returning the product from your address to the web store are at your own expense. The right of withdrawal applies only to consumers and not to business customers.

Products excluded from return:

  • Custom-made products such as custom-made retractors or tool tethers.
  • Products that are used, damaged, or incomplete.
  • Products specifically ordered from the manufacturer at the customer's request.
  • Products modified at the customer's request.

Right of withdrawal for business customers

The right of withdrawal does not apply to companies, as this is exclusively part of consumer legislation. B2B (Business to Business) at Gear Keeper Shop is considered an order placed with company details and for which the invoice has also been issued with these company details.

Return address

Once the return shipment has been registered and we have received the withdrawal form, the buyer will receive the return address to which the package can be returned from us; this can be our warehouse address or our office address, so never just send your package back.

What can you do with a product during the cooling-off period?

During the cooling-off period, the buyer must handle the product and the original packaging with care and only remove from the packaging what is necessary to assess whether the product meets expectations. The buyer may not actually use or test the product if it is not yet certain whether the product will be kept. GearKeeperShop may request compensation if, after return, it appears that the product has been used or tested.

Costs for returning a product

GearKeeperShop will reimburse all payments from the consumer, including any delivery costs charged by GearKeeperShop for the returned product, without undue delay and within 14 days following the day on which the consumer notifies the withdrawal. Unless GearKeeperShop offers to collect the product itself, Gear Keeper Shop may wait with reimbursement until the product has been received or until the consumer demonstrates that it has been returned, whichever is earlier. GearKeeperShop uses the same payment method and bank account number for reimbursement that the consumer used during the ordering process. Reimbursements will not be credited to an account other than that specified during the order.

Sending a return shipment

Sending a return shipment is always at your own expense and risk. This means that GearKeeperShop is not responsible for damage, loss, or otherwise of your sent return shipment. Package your return shipment well so that no damage can occur during transport. Your shipment must be delivered on working days to the address you receive from GearKeeperShop after you have registered the shipment for return. Parcel shop deliveries will not be accepted and will automatically be returned to the sender's address.

Refund of purchase amount

If agreed as such, GearKeeperShop will refund the purchase amount within 2 weeks to the account with which the order was paid.

Items that do not comply with the right of withdrawal

Items that do not meet the above criteria remain the property of the buyer. GearKeeperShop will return the items to the buyer and charge the costs incurred to the buyer.

Step-by-step return plan

  1. Register your return with us within 14 days of receipt by sending an email to info@gearkeepershop.com.
  2. Download the withdrawal form in the desired language here: English, German, or Dutch.
  3. Fill in the downloaded form completely, sign it, and send it by email to info@gearkeepershop.com.
  4. Once we have received the fully completed and signed withdrawal form, you will receive an RMA number (return merchandise authorization) and a return address from us.
  5. Clearly state the RMA number on the return package (e.g., top left). Please note: Do not simply send a return package to our office address in Gasselternijveenschemond; this is not always the correct return address!
  6. Always send the return package with a track-and-trace code and provide this code to our customer service. If you send without track-and-trace and the package gets lost or damaged, this is at your own risk, and Deltron cannot be held responsible for it.
  7. After receiving the return shipment, we will send you a confirmation of receipt by email. We will then process your return.
  8. If the product meets the return conditions, we will exchange the item or refund the purchase amount within 2 weeks, depending on your choice.
    If the product does not meet the return conditions, we will return the product to the address specified during the order and charge the incurred shipping costs.
