Shipping Methods
- Orders within the Netherlands are shipped with PostNL, DPD, GLS, UPS or Fedex.
- Orders to Belgium, Germany & Luxembourg are shipped with PostNL, DPD, GLS, UPS, or FedEx. Orders to countries in EU Zone 1 & 2 are shipped with DPD, GLS, UPS, or FedEx.
- Orders to countries outside Europe Shipped with DPD, GLS, UPS, or FedEx. We ship these orders as DAP. If applicable, you must pay VAT and import duties to the carrier.
Processing of orders
Orders are usually processed and shipped the same day or the next business day, depending on the time of day the order is placed. Once the packages have been collected by our carriers, we no longer have any influence on delivery. For deliveries within the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, or Luxembourg, we expect a delivery time of 1 to 3 business days. Delivery delays may also occur due to busy delivery times at the carrier(s). For all other countries, we expect a delivery time of 2 to 6 business days. If the delivery time is longer for any other reason, you will receive an email from us with the estimated delivery time of your order.
Track order
Once your order has been shipped and arrived at the sorting center (carrier's depot), your package will be scanned. You will then receive an email from our shipping system containing your package's barcode (track & trace). This email will also list the carrier we used to ship the package. You will also receive delivery updates via email from DPD, GLS, PostNL, and FedEx.
Carriers and shipments
- PostNL In the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, PostNL will deliver the package once to your specified delivery address or to your neighbors. If you are not home, PostNL will take the package to a collection point where you can pick it up with valid ID and the package number. You will receive a message in the PostNL app with the address where you can collect your package and when it will be ready for collection. You must collect your package from the designated collection point within 7 business days.
- DPD, GLS, UPS, or FedEx will deliver shipments once to your specified address. If you are not present, the carrier will take the shipment to a collection point. You will receive an email notifying you of the location and time of delivery. Please bring valid identification for collection.
Pick-up at parcel point
If you do not collect the package from the collection point within 7 business days, or, if possible, do not schedule a new delivery, or refuse the shipment upon delivery, it will be returned to us. Once the package has been returned to us, the order will be cancelled. The shipping and return costs will be deducted from the refund amount. (For the Netherlands, this is €7.95 return + €7.95 return; for all other countries, this will be double the shipping costs.)
PostNL App
We recommend installing the PostNL app on your smartphone or tablet and creating an account so you can track your package, if sent with PostNL, and know exactly when it will be delivered.
This app regularly sends an update about your package until shortly before it's delivered to the delivery address. After the package has been delivered, you'll receive a final update confirming its delivery. This is because it sometimes happens that our customers don't receive an automatically generated email, or that an automatically generated email is sent but ends up in the spam box. you don't have to search your email for updates every time about your package, but you will receive this via the app in the form of a push notification on your phone, tablet and even on your smartwatch (iOS and Android).
The additional advantage of the PostNL App is that you can use it completely personalize with settings for delivering/not delivering to neighbors, delivering to neighbors at specific house number(s) and setting a suitable delivery location if no one is at home.
Pick up your order without shipping costs
Would you like to collect your order yourself? This is only possible by appointment. When you place an order with us, you can select "collect" at checkout. Shipping costs will then be waived. After checkout, you will receive a confirmation email stating that you will receive an email once your order is ready.
Delivery time and delivery at Gearkeepershop
At Gearkeepershop, we do our best to ensure your order is delivered within 3 business days – provided the product is in stock.
Item out of stock
If a product is temporarily out of stock, the delivery time may be slightly longer. In that case, you will automatically receive an email with the expected delivery time. As soon as your order ships, we will send you a second email with the track & trace information.
Item available on request
Some of our products may only be available upon request, due to inspections or custom-made products that need to be made to order.
Partial delivery in case of multiple
products
Ordering multiple products and some out of stock? Don't worry—we'll make sure you can start using what's available as soon as possible.
For orders containing multiple items, we will ship the in-stock items in advance via partial shipment. You will receive an email update with the expected delivery time for the remaining items.
Once the missing items are back in stock, they will be automatically delivered. You will then receive a separate shipping confirmation with a new track & trace code.
This means you never have to wait unnecessarily for your complete order.
